Session Log 12/3/2000 Log

-- Start log: Sunday, December 3, 2000 9:16:36 am LunaSoft MOO time --

GM says, "*** START SESSION ***"
Corin says, "((as a quick guide, how long since in time since we left Praesus?))"
GM says, "where we left off last time, Joseph and Caralchis had just been questioned by Lord Euric and the others were set to be called up"
GM [to Corin]: roughly ten days
Corin says, "((tnx))"
GM says, "Corin had returned to Faiseric's inn but was nearly captured by town guards when they showed up looking for him - he narrowly escaped"
GM says, "let's pick it up with Corin for starters"
Corin says, "((ah yes, we were discussing Euric's sister being possibly the witch's daughter?))"
Corin is in wrong shape and desperate. He decides to go to Modag for help.
GM says, "yeah, i think that was the theory someone was putting forth... i have the session logs if anyone needs a recap of the theorizing :)"
Corin says, "((one of you must mention the witch under interrogation!))"
GM [to Corin]: you still don't know where Modag lives, but you ask around... make a Streetwise roll
Corin rolls 3 + 0.
Result [1 2 3] = 6 + 0 = 6.
GM says, "wow, pretty good! only missed your default by 1 :)"
Corin smirks.
GM says, "(which reminds me, in passing, that i haven't awarded XP in awhile. remind me after the session today to hand them out, ok?)"
Corin says, "((which would raise my default? ;)"
Corin says, "I use carousing while questioning people" to GM"
GM [to Corin]: the roll is mostly to determine (a) how well you manage to evade the town guards while you search around, and (b) how long it takes you
Corin says, "cool :)"
GM [to Corin]: you succeed in evading the cops (who display typical low-tech inefficiency) and finda guy who knows where modag lives by noon
Corin asks the man the best way to get there.
GM [to Corin]: he rents a suite in the inner city (this is actually not an anachronism, although it probably sounds like one)
Corin says, "(is the inner city near the jail?))"
GM [to Corin]: the inner city is simlpy the part of the city inside the inner wall. the jail is in the inner city but so is a lot of stuff
GM [to Corin]: still, the two buildings are no more than five minutes' walk apart
Corin walks hurridly toward's Modag after thanking the man, keeping an eye out for the cops.
GM [to Corin]: Modag's building is similar to Faiseric's inn, although somewhat more sumptuously appointed
GM [to Corin]: when you arrive you are greeted by a landlord
Corin says, "Greetings, I am here to see Modag please.""
GM [to Corin]: the landlord tells you that Modag hasn't been in for two days; he has no idea when he'll return.
Corin says, "well, I will wait then if it is ok? We met at Lord Euric's party and became friends.""
GM says, "(ooc: wait where?)"
Corin realizes he must look quite a mess. "Anywhere I can clean up?"
GM says, "the landlord offers to let you in to Modag's apartment to wait, but admonishes you not to touch anything"
Corin says, ":agrees, and once inside looks around. (After the landlord leaves of course.)"
GM [to Corin]: [Landlord] if you need to clean up, there's a bath a few minutes' walk from here
Corin decides he'll clean up in his apartment.
GM [to Corin]: the landlord goes off and leaves you alone.
GM [to Corin]: the apartment is a mess.
Corin says, "ransacked?"
Corin says, "or just messy?"
GM [to Corin]: no, just messy. there are sheets of parchment everywhere, racks of scrolls, glass and pottery containers of every sort
GM [to Corin]: all of the junk overlays a sparse substrate of furniture which appears to be of good quality
Corin cleans himself up somewhat, pokes around a little, then decides to wait for Modag.
GM [to Corin]: the closed case of the far-viewing device Modag showed you is there as well
GM [to Corin]: you aren't literate, are you?
Corin realizes he hasn't returned in 2 days, and it may be another 2 before he does. Corin eyes the closed case enviously.
Corin says, "((lemme check. dont think so))"
GM [to Corin]: actually, the default is 'semi-literate', so that's what you are
Corin says, "((ok))"
Corin attempts to read some of the parchments and scrolls as he waits.
GM [to Corin]: you are a very slow reader. it takes about 3 minutes to make out a sentence, and even then you may not fully grasp its meaning
Corin says, "((time is on my side *grin*))"
Renard [to GM]: I have to disconnect for about 5 mins... brb
GM [to Corin]: but you struggle with a few of the more evident parchments for a while
Renard has disconnected.
GM [to Corin]: one in particular sits on a desk surrounded by scrolls; there are notes scribbled there by Modag himself. you look it over.
GM says, "the notes appear to be talking about Modag's theories on the end of the world"
Corin drops that paper and keeps poking around.
GM says, "there are two quotes that he has written down. the first is Biblical, from a book called 'Isaiah'"
GM says, "it says: 'See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and "
GM says, "it says 'See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and "
GM says, "it reads 'See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and "
GM says, "it reads 'See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger - to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.'"
Corin opens drawers to the desk, being a curious youth, and looks within them too.
GM says, "the second quote is from a Hunnish religious text, and reads 'A great light will appear in the sky, bringing the dragon of the end of time.'"
The housekeeper arrives to cart Renard off to bed.
Corin remembers Modag's knowledge of his ancestors.
GM says, "inside the desk you find several writing implements, blank sheets of parchment, materials for preparing parchment for writing, etc."
GM says, "there are also some stranger odds and ends, like a collection of tiny skulls no larger than your thumb knuckle"
Corin says, "I keep searching for clues where Modag may be."
Caralchis says, "(maybe he got off earth so he wouldn't be there when it ended)"
Corin says, "((lol))"
Corin says, "((took the comet))"
GM says, "there are all sorts of interesting things there, but nothing that gives you a clue to Modag's whereabouts"
Corin decides to wait until late afternoon for Modag to return.
GM says, "late afternoon arrives and Modag has not returned"
Corin says, "((GM is enticing the PC to become a thief, showing him that telescope.))"
GM wears his best poker face
Corin stands, getting more desperate, and fearing for his friends. He looks for a leather jacket.
Bodoni has arrived.
Corin says, "((hey!!))"
Corin says, "((Bodoni carouses IRL as well as IC *grin* ))"
GM says, "Modag's wardrobe contains a quantity of good clothing, but no good replacement for your leather jacket. the only items there that would be suitable armor are winter clothing and would be too hot for comfort in the summer"
Bodoni (Oh, man....I slept..right throught the alarm. :/)
GM [to Bodoni]: and through the phone, btw :) i tried calling
Bodoni (dammit. :/)
Corin grabs some of the paper, and writes a crude note in Hunnish to Modag.
Bodoni (give me a minute to get acclimated I was going to read last log early..I need to play catch up. :/)
GM [to Corin]: what does the note say? (note that i will make an IQ-2 roll to make it intelligible)
Corin says, "((fair enough))"
Corin struggles with the writing, and reads the note aloud to himself when done.
GM [to Bodoni]: so far this session i've been dealing with Corin, so you haven't missed anything critical to your own situation
GM [to Bodoni]: however that's about to change, so i'm glad you showed up :)
Corin says, "Modag! I am Corin. Your Hun friend from Euric party. We need help! I will come back.""
Corin says, "I have magic glass. I can give back. My people are in jail. We are not guilty. PLease help us!""
Renard has arrived.
GM [to Corin]: it takes you about twenty minutes to get all of this on parchment, and you are unaccustomed to making the various letters and things. when you're done you aren't entirely satisfied but can't think of any way to improve the note.
Renard says, "anyone care to summarize the missing minutes to me in a whisper?"
Corin leaves the note where the closed box was. Corin guiltily stuffs the box in his backpack.
Corin then goes downstairs and hurries out the door towards the jail.
GM says, "(anyone summarizing for Renard?)"
Renard says, "not yet..."
Corin says, "((did i find any weapons in the apartment, btw?))"
GM [to Corin]: not really. a few small knives, suitable for whittling or preparing quills, but not for combat. some heavy blunt objects that could be used as weapons. some glass items that could be broken and the shards used as weapons. no REAL weapons, though
Corin tries to get a good view of the jail from a distance, and tries to watch the jail with his looking-glass.
Corin hopes he is sufficiently hidden so as not to draw attention to himself.
GM [to Corin]: actually, let's switch back to the others for now... you've been to Modag's and looked around, and now you've left
Corin says, "((ok))"
GM says, "so, back in prison...."
Bodoni (I'm done...reading. )
Corin says, "and asked around for where Modag lived.""
GM [to Renard&Bodoni]: you get interrogated like Joseph & Caralchis did. do you stick to your story like they did or try something else?
Corin says, "((oops, sorry))"
Bodoni sticks to the story we agreed on
Bodoni respectfully "Other than that, ah know nothing more...tis all a big misunderstanding..."
GM says, "ok then... it proceeds in a similar vein. Euric questions you about Greta, whom you've never heard of, and asks where you're from and so on. you tell him the truth in all cases, mostly denying knowledge of this Greta person."
Renard - I answer direct questions honestly, of course
GM [to Renard]: of course :)
GM says, "Euric threatens you a few times, but you don't get roughed up, and he sends you back to your cell presently."
GM says, "Johan is next, all by himself, and he returns shortly, unharmed."
Corin says, "((no one bleats a word of the witch?))"
GM says, "brb"
Corin says, "((bunch of wussies *grin* ))}"
Bodoni (hey...you're still a free man. :D)
Corin says, "((you only have one arm they can break))"
Renard says, "What did you tell them, brother?"
Corin says, "((oh, thats Garomach, right? one-armed.))"
Bodoni (um, yeah... ;D)
Bodoni (On the upside, I've only got one eye they can remove.. :P ;D)
Corin says, "((I knew you were missing one ball. I was guessing a different one.))"
Bodoni (:PPPPPP Corin! ;D)
Corin says, "((lol))"
GM says, "back"
Bodoni slumps tiredly against the wall "Tis not going well, that can be certain."
GM says, "[Johan] they asked about someone called Greta. i never heard of no Greta. i told 'em we were from Praesus, a place kind of like this one."
Renard says, "You didn't make up any stories, then, I hope?"
GM says, "[Johan] no."
GM says, "the rest of the day passes without incident. you are fed more bread and water morning and night."
Bodoni gruff and grumbles "Methinks the Lord Euric hath already made up his mind. This doth not smack of 'Roman' justic I can tell ya that.."
Bodoni (justice)
GM [to Bodoni]: yeah, they didn't even Mirandize you, the bastards :)
Bodoni (Heheh)
GM says, "anything you four want to try, or shall i shift back to corin and then move on to the next day?"
Joseph says, "I think the only way out of this situation is through Euric, so I say we wait"
Caralchis says, "indeed"
Bodoni nods grudgingly "The lad's probably right.."
GM says, "ok, then, back to Corin"
GM [to Corin]: when you leave Modag's place, nightfall is only a couple of hours away
Corin wonders what he'll do. HE tells the landlord he'll be back in an hour.
GM [to Corin]: because the jail is in the city center, there is no good place from where to watch the jail from afar using the telescope. too many buildings around, you know.
Corin returns to Modag's place as the sky darkens and decides to sleep there.
Corin removes the telescope from his bag and returns it to its place while he sleeps.
Corin pockets the note he wrote also.
GM [to Corin]: ok, you wait at modag's. you go to sleep in his bed, which is the least messy place to lie down on in the apartment.
Bodoni (Corin, storm the jail! Sure, you'll die horribly, but some of us will be able to escape! :D)
GM [to Corin]: night falls, and you quickly fall asleep after a frustrating and tiring day. it seems only moments before you are being shaken roughly awake.
Corin says, "ughh, wha??""
Corin tries to jump up out of bed in surprise.
GM [to Corin]: you open your eyes to see Modag bending over you, holding a candle.
Corin says, "Modag! Am I glad to see you!""
GM says, "[Modag] calm down, my boy, calm down!"
GM says, "[Modag] what are you doing here?"
Corin says, "You must help me. My friends are in some kind of trouble.""
Corin says, "I had no-where else to go...""
Corin relays the whole story to Modag, as best he can.
GM says, "[Modag] (bleakly) but what's the point? the world is ending anyway."
Corin shakes his head. "Modag, please you must help us. What happens if you are wrong?"
GM says, "[Modag] all the prophecies are aligned. how can all the prophets be wrong? and how could i help you anyway?"
Corin says, "How can I get my friends out of the jail?""
Corin says, "((would it be improper for me to question Modag about Euric, Greta, and the witch?))"
GM says, "(no)"
Corin says, "Who is Euric's mother, Modag?"
GM says, "[Modag] Euric is very powerful, so they'll be released when he's ready and probably no sooner."
GM says, "[Modag] she died years ago, when his sister Greta was born. the city was in mourning for a week after that. i had only seen ten summers when that happened, but i remember it well."
Corin says, "Have you heard the name Miraguntha?" Corin winces."
GM says, "[Modag] Miraguntha? Miraguntha... the name seems familiar, actually. seems i've come across it somewhere... let me see..."
Corin waits while Modag recalls.
Renard - now we're getting somewhere...
GM says, "he rummages through some of his papers and comes up with one"
GM says, "[Modag] yes, here we go. there was a Lady Miraguntha who was excommunicated in Serdica for the commission of black magic. she was exiled by the secular leaders and i heard she headed west."
Corin says, "Serdica far from here?"
GM says, "[Modag] this would have been years and years ago, and i haven't heard of her since"
Corin says, "Do you remember Euric's mother's name?"
GM says, "[Modag] (chuckling) yes, lad. Serdica is in Thracia."
Bodoni (Ah, ha! :D)
GM says, "(ooc: you have heard of Thracia mentioned by others as a land far to the east, but no nothing about it)"
GM says, "(yikes: KNOW nothing about it)"
GM says, "[Modag] of course. her name was Carenna."
Corin is puzzled. "Where is Greta now?"
Corin says, "((ooc - we heard the name Carenna before, no?))"
GM says, "[Modag] i assume she resides at Pedronius' villa still."
GM [to Corin]: nope, Carenna is a new one on you
Corin says, "Modag, this is why we came here. We killed the evil witch Miraguntha, and were told she had a daughter, who may seek revenge. We come to find her first.""
GM says, "(ooc: note to self - update the people page with all the NPCs!)"
GM says, "[Modag] you *killed* Miraguntha?"
Corin says, "She was threatening to kill someone else. we had too.""
Corin says, "Lord Garomach was probably asking around, trying to get info, and got taken in for treason. I'm not sure why he was mentioning Perfu.""
GM says, "[Modag] and you thought Miraguntha's daughter lived here, in Lugdunum?"
Corin says, "Well, we were passing thru here on our way. I am only trying to make sense of all this.""
Corin says, "But I believe Garomach is not guilty of treason. And I know my friends are not.""
GM says, "[Modag] i am not sure how much i can help, my young friend. i know nothing of Miraguntha's daughter or of any deal with Perfu."
Corin says, "Perhaps you can go to Euric, and speak on behalf of my friends?""
Corin says, "Euric knows you...""
GM says, "Modag stares off into space for a few minutes, thinking"
Corin says, "((i can see Modag's place getting stormed by the imperial guard next.))"
Joseph says, "help me Obi Wan, you're our only help..."
Corin says, "((lol))"
GM says, "[Modag] you are in need of my help, i can see that. but i could also use yours. let me let you in on a little project of mine..."
Corin listens carefully.
GM says, "[Modag] the end of the world is approaching. of that i am certain. i do not know how to prevent this. so far i have told very few how certain i am, and no one has believed me. i do not wish to spark a mass panic."
Corin nods.
GM says, "[Modag] however, i have been preparing for the day, in the vain hope that i and perhaps a few trusted friends may survive the destruction."
Corin says, "How can I help?"
GM says, "[Modag] there is a cave, up in the mountains. i won't tell you where it is just yet. i have been outfitting it with food and supplies and plan to go there when the destructive star grows nigh."
GM says, "[Modag] you can help with the provisioning. that is where i have been the past two days, and it is slow going for a well-known man who wants to keep a secret. but you, you are not well known, and you have a carruca of your own."
Corin says, "Fair enough, and you will try to help my friends?""
GM says, "[Modag] i will speak to Euric, although i am not sure what good it will do."
Corin says, "Will the guards recognize me if I take the carruca out the gate?""
GM says, "[Modag] many people pass through the gates every day."
Corin nods. "Where shall I take the carruca then?"
GM says, "[Modag] meet me just outside of town tomorrow at midday."
Corin says, "How do I fill the carruca with provisions?""
GM says, "[Modag] i will take care of that once we are out of town. i know a place."
Corin says, "Our carruca is at Faustulus' inn. There were guards there last time, and it may be watched for my return.""
GM says, "[Modag] ah yes, that is problematic. do you think you can get to it?"
Corin shrugs. "I can try. I will meet you as planned if all goes well."
GM says, "[Modag] it is agreed, then! now let us sleep, for tomorrow will be a busy day."
Corin suddenly realizes he is exhausted. "'til tommorrow....."
GM says, "he clear some junk off of a sort of settee for you to sleep on the rest of the night"
Corin curls up on the settee and sleeps.
GM says, "now back to the others"
renard [Guest] has arrived.
GM says, "joseph, renard, bodoni, caralchis: each of you say something so i know you're still there :)"
Bodoni (We're being tortured yet? ;D)
renard_ [Guest] - juno is cracking down on freeloaders; I just got disconnected
Bodoni (Read some of the guards exceedingly bad poetry? ;D)
Corin says, "((I cant believe all of renards bones are broken.))"
Joseph says, "here"
GM [to Renard]: i thought Juno was all *about* freeloaders? isn't it a free service?
Caralchis says, "i'm here, i was just getting a snack"
Bodoni (Snack? :9)
Corin says, "((Caralchis, eat in role - sparingly with bread and water only.))"
GM chuckles
renard_ [Guest] [to GM]: it's about not paying, but they want you to visit advertisers and generate income for them, obviously.
renard_ [Guest] [to GM]: I got an email talking about how they are going to crack down on the heavy users that overuse the service
GM says, "the next day, you wake up feeling stiff and sore from sleeping on the cold stones of the cell"
Bodoni stomach growls loudly "Ye think they hath nothing to eat in this den of injustice!"
GM says, "you get your morning b&w, and everything is pretty quiet until midmorning, when you hear a commotion out in the hall"
Joseph presses his ear to the door to try to hear better
Bodoni strains to listen "What's that then..."
GM says, "a man is screaming 'no, let me die! just let me die! i've done my duty!'"
GM says, "you hear many booted feet tramping down the hall and a scraping as if a man were being dragged. the shouting grows louder as it passes by your door, and then the shouter is thrown into the cell next to yours."
Bodoni raises an eyebrow "More fine prison service, ah think..."
Renard has disconnected.
Joseph says, "I'm guessing it doen't sound like Garomach"
GM [to Joseph]: correct, it doesn't
renard_ [Guest] when the guards have retreated somewhat... "Who are you and what are you here for?" to the nearby prisoner
Bodoni listens for a response
GM says, "[prisoner] i have dishonored my father's name, but that is not why they put me here."
GM says, "[prisoner] Lord Euric is furious with me, and rightly so. oh, the shame of it all!"
Bodoni says, "That seems epidemic as of late...tell us why?""
GM says, "[prisoner] I work for Pedronius. Have for six years; he hired me straight from the "
GM says, "[prisoner] I work for Pedronius. Have for six years; he hired me straight from the legions."
GM says, "[prisoner] Two weeks ago we heard that Perfu was coming into town, and as a precaution Pedronius sent his daughter Greta off into hiding. There were five guards, and we took her into the mountains to the west, to a vacation place one of Pedronius' friends owns."
GM says, "[prisoner] We were not to bring her back to Lugdunum until Pedronius himself came to tell us it was safe. We never got that signal, and we didn't even hear of Pedronius' untimely death at the hands of that villain Perfu."
The housekeeper arrives to cart Renard off to bed.
GM says, "[prisoner] Two days ago we were attacked at night by a band of soldiers. They killed our night watchmen; we didn't have a chance."
GM says, "[prisoner] I don't know how they found us. I was left for dead myself."
GM says, "[prisoner] I overheard the attackers referring to their leader as Marshal Hrothgar. They took Greta, but where, I do not know."
Bodoni looks at other to see if they recognize the name "Hrothgar?"
Joseph says, "Hrothgar, the guy who sent Garomach on this mission?"
Caralchis says, "sounds familiar"
Corin says, "((aka Darth Vader))"
GM says, "the only Marshal Hrothgar you know is the one from the NPC page: www.lunasoft.com/gurps/twilight/people.html"
Bodoni narrows his eyes a bit "-that- Hrothgar..."
renard_ [Guest] says, "ugh"
GM says, "[prisoner] It is shameful that I did not die doing my duty. The gods must have spared me this shameful life to report back to Lord Euric. But they why do I remain alive?"
GM says, "they = then"
Bodoni says nothing, unsure of -how- to answer him
Corin says, "((did Hrothgar order Garomach to do this mission? Is that true?))"
GM says, "yes. Hrothgar was there to see you off, in fact."
Corin says, "(( ooc - ask who else knew where Greta was hidden in the mountains. How did Hrothgar find them?))"
GM says, "he already said he didn't know how they found her"
renard_ [Guest] says, "well, now we know much more where we stand. We just don't know why this Greta is so important"
Corin says, "((scream Garomach's name....see if he answers.))"
Joseph says, "she's important to Euric. Perhaps she's the bargining chip. It's possible Garomach found her whereabouts and tipped off Hrothgar."
renard_ [Guest] says, "Though I hate to think so, Garomach may not have shared everything with us, as you suggest."
renard [Guest] walks up the stairs, and you can't help but watch jealously.
Renard has arrived.
Renard says, "..."
GM says, "any more questions for the prisoner?"
Bodoni reminds the others "He doesn't have to. He is -our- Lord, afterall."
Joseph says, "we can't question him, can we?"
GM says, "you can talk to him through the wall, if you like."
Joseph asks the prisoner "What's your name?"
Renard "What's so important about Greta, aside from her blood relationships?
Joseph says, "(to Renard) I think that's why she's important. Isn't that enough?"
GM says, "[prisoner] i am called Agilulf"
Joseph says, "Agilulf, What did Euric say to you?"
GM says, "[prisoner] i don't know, and i don't know why Euric wasn't told. they are very close."
Bodoni looks about subtly for any left over food that may still be about
Joseph says, "(to A.) Euric didn't question you himself?"
Caralchis picks some crumbs out of his teeth and hands them to Bodoni
Bodoni frowns a bit, but continues to look
GM says, "[prisoner] sure he did! it was obvious that he didn't know we were guarding Greta, though, and i don't know why that would be."
Joseph says, "to Bodoni, here dad, I was saving this for later, (offers a crust of bread)"
Joseph says, "(to A.) who gave you the orders to guard Greta?"
GM says, "[Agilulf] Pedronius did"
Bodoni grins "Sur'in you're a good lad..."
Bodoni takes the crust, and chomps on it
Joseph says, "(to everyone in the cell) do you have any ideas?"
Caralchis sjakes his head slowly
Caralchis (shakes)
Bodoni merely shrugs, having nothing substantial to offer uo
Bodoni (uo=up)
Joseph says, "It looks like we *are* guilty from Euric's point of view."
Bodoni says, "Aye...a fare assessment, lad."
Joseph says, "I had hoped we could talk our way out of this, I'm not sure we can now."
Caralchis says, "you think Euric suspects us of being connected to Greta's disappearance?"
Bodoni says, "Most likely he thinks we played a hand in it, yes."
Corin says, "((If Greta is returned, you may get out.))"
GM says, "(all the action for this session is done, btw, so i'm ready to call it quits and hand out some XP)"
Joseph says, "I think Euric has strong suspicions, if not proof, of Garomach's involvement with Hrothgar. We've admitted our connection with Garomach"
Caralchis says, "Considering the situation, I suppose that is not a totally unreasonbale assumption on his part... unfortunately"
GM says, "(but keep discussing the situation. i gave you a lot of info this session to digest.)"
Renard says, "Does Euric have Garomach in custody?"
Corin says, "((he may be in the jail.))"
GM [to Renard]: he has certainly implied as much
Joseph says, "He hinted at that fact"
Renard says, "We must ask to be able to meet him to find out what's happened. We can offer to try and find Greta."
Bodoni says, "If we weren't locked away in ths hellhole, we could clear our names. Perhaps Corin...nay..he knows nothing about this I'd gather."
Bodoni says, "I'll imagine they'd not let us go in any event, Renard."
Joseph says, "Modog might be able to help. "
Renard says, "They won't let us go if we do nothing, I'll give you odds!"
Joseph says, "I didn't realize we could talk through walls until today, maybe next time they bring us bread and water we can try talking to the guards. They seem talkative."
Bodoni sighs "Slim odds, Renard. But, yer right...odds none the less."
Joseph says, "are we playing next week and then two weeks off?"
GM says, "anyone need a review on the XP spending procedure re discretionary and non-discretionary points?"
GM says, "it's the same thing we did last time, but i know it's been a while"
GM [to Joseph]: playing next week AND the week after, and THEN two weeks off
Bodoni (Okie.)
GM [to Joseph]: so no game on Dec 24 & 31, but YES game on Dec 10 & 17
Renard says, "ok, I'm outta here. Obviously we're out of ideas, so lets just see what Euric, Modag, and Corin can make happen. "
Renard has disconnected.
GM says, "*** END SESSION ***"
